Tuesday August 4th Kaplin Orthodontics invites you to spend an evening in support of National Night Out. Come out to North School Park and learn about crime and drug prevention awareness! This event generates support and participation in local anti-crime efforts to strengthen neighborhood spirit and community relations.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. Together, we are making that happen.
National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community and provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Neighborhoods across the nation host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and other various community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel and exhibits.
In the North School Park you will be able to have a picnic. Bring your own or purchase hot dogs, grilled cheese and chips. There will be free popsicles, balloons, popcorn, water & soda (While Supplies Last), balloon sculptors, business expo, games, moonwalks, free giveaways. From the 7:00 to 8:30 Dance the Night Away with Spoken Four – 7:00-8:30 pm. This band promises to bring non-stop high-energy performance with a variety of music everyone is sure to enjoy. You won’t want to miss this performance!
Arlington Heights Police Department, Arlington Heights Fire Department, Animal Control, Crime Prevention, Bomb Squad, Secret Service and many, many more will be there. Don’t miss the canine performance and don’t miss us!
