Insurance
If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Remember that insurance policies vary, and we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action. Once treatment has started, we will file your claims.
To help us with your insurance, please complete the insurance questions on our questionnaire. (Name of the insurer, DOB, SSN)
How much does treatment cost?
The cost of orthodontic treatment will depend on many factors, including the severity of the problem, its complexity and length of treatment. The cost of treatment can also be influenced by the insurance plan. Dr. Kaplin will be glad to discuss the cost of treatment and your financing options before treatment begins. Patients are finding that braces are more affordable today than ever.
How much does Invisalign cost?
Cost is always a concern, and only Dr. Kaplin can establish the exact price of the treatment. In most cases, Invisalign treatment is comparable to the cost of traditional braces. Most of the cost of treatment, however, depends upon the difficulty of the case.
Does insurance cover Invisalign?
Because medical benefits differ from policy to policy, you should review your personal coverage plan and check with your insurance provider. In general, if a patient has orthodontic coverage, Invisalign should be covered to the same extent as conventional braces.
